Bellebambino Baby Massage

Description: Bellebambino Baby Massage was founded by Nicky and co-founder Lisa. Together they have developed an age appropriate fun, fresh approach to supporting new parents in those early days, weeks & months of parenthood. Designed for little ones from 0-12 months, providing midwifery approved techniques to support colic, reflux, trapped wind, constipation, digestion, teething & sleep. All whilst building a firm attachment & bond between caregiver & baby. The class is fun and relaxed and is a great complement to our Mum & Baby Yoga class (Thursdays at 10:30-11:30).

Nicky has over 30 years experience in childcare & childhood development. Teaching & supporting children, helping them develop & reach their full potential. Qualifications include an NNEB (National Nursery Examination Board) certificate, a Diploma in Post Natal Depression and is a certified baby massage instructor through Hands On Babies.

Swing Yoga Class

Description: Swing yoga incorporates a swing or hammock as an integral part of the practice. The hammock is a versatile prop and is used to explore creative ways to incorporate it into our yoga practice. In swing yoga we use the hammock to assist in the practice: we’re often using the ground and sharing our weight with the hammock, which informs the choices we make about how to grip, how to engage or relax, how to sequence, and more.

NB. Please note that you must attend an Swing Yoga Induction session before joining a Swing Yoga class: September 17th (full), Sept 24th at 8-9:00 pm, and October 13th at 4-5:00o pm. £12/person

Please rest assured that for all sessions Sharon can adapt and modify the practice where necessary to help you enjoy and gain the maximum benefit from the class.

Mum & Baby Yoga Class

Description: Motherhood can bring such joy but also a bit of apprehension and anxiety. Birthlight Post-natal and Baby Yoga classes offer a series of specially adapted gentle yoga poses, breathwork, visualisation, meditation and relaxation to help you cope with the changes in your life and to bond more deeply with your baby.
Post-natal yoga poses and deep breathing techniques heal and tone your body, calm your mind, and provide you with the tool to cope with the stresses of parenthood. You and your baby are encouraged to interact and bond with each other during class. We spend roughly half the class on the mother and the other half on the baby. We encourage mothers to gently practice yoga with their little ones. The movements and massages promote healthy physical, emotional and mental development for the babies while empowering the parents with creative ways to interact with their little ones.

Please try to leave your pram/buggy in the car and carry your baby into class. A car seat is fine. Please bring along a blanket, a yoga mat and a small cushion. A bottle of water is a good idea too. Thank you.
