Our Pregnancy Yoga class uses gentle and fluid movement and adapted traditional yoga poses to tone and relax the expectant mum on all levels - physical, mental and emotional. Visualisation, breathing techniques, guided meditation and relaxation are all included to promote calmness and peace and increase confidence in one’s own ability to birth one’s baby lightly and safely. This class is suitable from 15 weeks of pregnancy to birth.
You will need your phone, iPad or laptop (laptop is the best) and the app Zoom Cloud Meeting (sign up for free, no need to upgrade to get the full class as Wendy’s already paid to upgrade as the host). You will of course need your yoga mat, maybe a couple yoga bricks if you have them (if not 2 thick hard-cover books will do), maybe some cushions and a belt. Please make sure you have both the audio and video on when you log in. Wendy will send the invitation at least an hour before class time so that you can get set up and start on time. Do please try to angle your phone/laptop camera so Wendy can see you from head to toe (as much as possible anyway).
