The Big Chant
FlowMotion.Life is proud to be hosting The Big Chant by Jo Shannon to help her raise money to take The Big Theatre and our local talent to the Edinburgh Fringe this August.

This three-hour workshop will be divided into three sections:
- a physical practice to prepare the body to sit
- a breath and vocal practice to prepare the body to chant
- the mantras themselves
Chanting mantras has many known benefits including focusing the mind, releasing emotion, calming the nervous system and creating connection. Join Jo on the mat, create beautiful vibrations and instil a profound sense of calm and well-being.
Jo Shannon trained with Pure Light Yoga School and the Teen Yoga Foundation and is a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals. Jo also teaches piano and singing and is Co-Director of Big Theatre, a company that produces theatre with young people. All proceeds from this workshop will go to Big Theatre to help fund the young theatre company’s trip to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
